Another weekend spot - Nirmal village

Hello!

In my constant tryst with nature, i came across another scenic village, very close to Mumbai which also served as a perfect post-trekking spot to our group of trekkers.

Nirmal village is located at a stone through distance from Virar, a Mumbai suburb.

The following are some of the snap-shots of my rural experience with a difference!

We were greeted by a magnificient and vivacious temple which looked was illuminated under bright sun-light...

The village also encompasses a quite lake cordoned by bright flora and fauna!

Another snap of the serene water body!

In the midst of the palms stands a church complementing the picture beautifully....

We also came across some villagers and the only thing on their mind seemed to be work; Hard work... :-)

Some more 'indulged' with heaps of bale all around...

Here's a picture of a ready-to-be-harvested grains!

A wild flower in the pink of its health!

A perfect 'Getaway' at the Gateway!

Hi friends,

I'm raring to share another photographic experience with all of you; this time the 'peripheries of the maximum city' being the subject!

We started our journey on a launch along with a few companions on a sunday morning.

The reflection of clear blue sky on the water along with symmetric arrangement of boats on one side and the Gateway on the other side was an interesting capture! Personally, i liked the composition of the picture.

Next was the heartening picture of the 'Taj' reminiscing us of the ever welcoming culture of the country! The unbelievably blue color stood for our never ending spirit and makes this picture truly vivid!

I got the first panaromic glimpse of the sky-scrapers only when i reached some distance away from the main-land. The tinted clouds in the sky and light bluish water enhances the subject optimally

The combination of the eye catching red colour of one of the ships and the white clouds over blue sky made this one a perfect shot!
The never-ending spread of grey clouds looked breath-taking but wasn't enough to stop the lone strolling ship!

The 'sepia'tic tone of the picture really enhances the cloud formation and the sun's reflection on the ship and the water!

Does the lone standing tree in the midst of streaming water not teach us to 'Hang On'?
I was really fortunate to be able to capture Mumbai from a different notion!
